Support for all of life’s ups and downs
I am currently seeing Oregon clients in person or on zoom.
Are you or a family member struggling with issues related to family, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, relationship concerns, major life changes, or you just need someone to talk to? There comes a time when help is needed to help cope with many of life’s challenges. I’m an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and California and I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Why me: I am passionate about helping individuals, no matter their age, find their voice, their confidence, encourage them to explore their inner most feelings, foster an environment of safety, encouragement of seeking and maintaining relationships. I am honest and straight forward, accepting, kind and loving. I strive to provide a space for anyone to be honest about what their internal struggles might be.
Full disclosure, I don’t love the “pick me” portion of this test. But here we go… I am not a passive therapist. I am funny, direct, honest, empathetic and a get in there with you therapist. I will get into the trenches with you or your child/teen and we will explore and then we will dig out together! The goal is to find a better understanding, self reflection, empathy, healthy coping skills, a strong sense of self and thriving relationships. LGBTQIA+ affirming, Neurodivergent affirming, advocate extraordinaire!

Working from multiple modalities, (psychodynamic, humanistic, attachment-based and child centered), I treat the whole child/teen by providing our youth in the greater community with a space to explore, process and express their own emotional experiences through play, art and talk therapies. Therapy has proven to help kids improve self-esteem, identify their strengths, lean into their growing edges, learn perspective, process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies and find and maintain healthy relationships. Ultimately therapy can lead to children and teens being more self-regulated, grounded, and resourced about their own emotional experiences throughout life leading to less anxiety and depression and an increase in their ability to tolerate all of life’s ups and downs which will ultimately lead to thriving interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.
Each child if different in their needs and interventions. I will adjust my interventions based on your child's needs; DBT, play based therapy, art therapy, talk and nature therapies are all utilized. I don't just treat the child but I am also very involved with the family unit; as a whole. I am here to support everyone!
The following are symptoms that may indicate a problem that therapy can help with: Is your child struggling with school, relationships, self-image, concerns with depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts or anxiety? Are you and your child struggling to connect or have you noticed a shift in behaviors? Does your child need tools to help manage certain feelings such as depression, anxiety, transitions and more?

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. Therapy can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, exploring relationships old and new, understanding how one relates and attaches in this world and so much more. Many find they enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware. Therapy can help with:
Anger
Career challenges
Divorce/separation
Blended families
Exploring relationships and their many complexities
Sleep difficulties
Exploring current or past trauma
Anxiety
Depression
Wanting to explore how to connect with emotions in a deeper way
Improving communication
Intimacy concerns
Childhood exploration
Just needing someone to talk to..... and more

Family Therapy
Family therapy can take many forms and help with all types of families such as: blended families, separation or divorce, co-parenting or improving communication and understanding between all family members.
We all start this life with a family, whether that family is composed of blood relatives, adopted parents, a close-knit neighborhood, or a foster family. The family that we acquire when we are born influences every aspect of our lives, from our first moments to our last.
Our family affects who we are and who we become, for better and for worse. We learn our vocabulary, our habits, our customs and rituals, and how to view and observe the world around us. We also learn how to love and interact with people from these first important relationships.
Like with anything in life as families grow and change communication can suffer, misunderstandings can occur and sometimes we can find ourselves feeling disconnected. Family therapy can help all types of families create a better understanding of one another and offer ways in which to communicate with compassion and understanding.

Couples Counseling
In my therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve communication, empathy, passion and understanding of your partner. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles together as a team. Whether you are wanting to mend a marriage, improve intimacy or end a relationship in a healthy manner; I am here to help guide you to your goal.
Get to Know Me
Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to a Masters of Science degree in Marriage, Family and Couples Counseling. As an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I am committed to the well-being of all my patients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs.
I truly care for all of my clients, and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek.
I work from a few modalities: My base is in Attachment Theory, Relational Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theories (which incorporates a variety of theories in of itself). I utilize DBT and other solution or behavioral focused tools when they are needed. Ultimately, I tailor my approach based on my client's needs. I strongly believe that we are all relational beings and as such a good therapeutic relationship is built on trust within the relationship. You are the expert on you; I am the tool in which you can develop a full sense of yourself in this world and as such form and sustain more meaningful relationships beginning with the one you and I will form in therapy.
I am seeing clients in person in Bend, OR either on zoom or in person (your choice). I can serve people all over the state of Oregon. I look forward to being your support!
